Personal Property: Art & Other Collections

A unique way to support the NAU mission.

University Advancement will be happy to assist you in arranging gifts of books, works of art, or other tangible personal property that represent significant acquisitions or additions to existing University collections.

For you to receive the most favorable tax treatment for your gift, the items must be related to the University’s mission. Generally, this means items that can be used to further the University’s teaching, research, and service activities. We also accept items for sale, with the proceeds to be designated for an educational purpose. The gift planning staff will be happy to provide you with additional information on appraisal requirements and other details.
