Gift Planning Options | |
The University Advancement gift planning staff assists donors and their advisors in integrating charitable gifts into their financial, tax, and estate planning objectives, maximizing benefits to both donors and Northern Arizona University. Planned gifts can provide donors with an immediate tax deduction and other benefits such as life income, continued use of gift property, or elimination of capital gains tax. Alumni and friends that arrange these types of gifts are eligible for membership in the Heritage Society.
A planned gift can be in the form of cash, securities, real estate, or other property. The Office of Gift Planning can help you with everything from simple bequests to gifts of retirement plan assets, real property, appreciated securities, and charitable life income gifts, such as charitable remainder trusts, and charitable gift annuities. We are ready to help you answer questions of any kind regarding bequests or other deferred gifts, their tax consequences, and their use at the university.
